In line with the
development of the distinguished relations between the UAE and the "Arab
Republic of Egypt", in all areas economic, social and educational and
provide ongoing support to the brotherly State of "Egypt", Professor “Ali
Mohammad Shemaili” acting Cultural Attaché in the States Embassy in “Cairo”
opened recentey two schools called "Sheikh
Zayed", in “Manshiyat Naser in “Cairo”, the opening ceremony was attended
by Dr. “Mahmoud Abo El Nasr”, Egyptian Minister of Education, Dr. “Galal Mostafa
Al Saeed”, Cairo Governor, Major General "Mohamed Ayman Abdel Tawab,"
Deputy Mayor for the Western Region, General "Hisham Abu Sinna" Head
of Reconstruction Department in Cairo, "Jamal Mohamed Mohy” Manshiyat Naser
Manager, Dr. “Mohammed Salama”, Director of Education Department, and a number
of manager from thearea and the Ministry.
Work had started in
the "Sheikh Zayed Schools" in “Manshiyat Naser” area at the beginning
of the academic year with funding from the UAE at a total cost for the two
schools of around (30) million pounds. The work was completed in the first
school, "Sheikh Zayed School for Primary Education" with (55) sections
for nursery, primary and secondary.
While the second
school, "Sheikh Zayed Industrial School for Girls” has (33) sections in
addition to workshops needed for vocational training. Five sections are
functioning now in different specialties like Ready to wear, Trico, Knitting,
Typing and Decoration.
