An “observations and proposals team” from the “Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific research” visited the “Complaints and Suggestions Department and the Policies Section” at the “Directorate General of Strategy and Performance Development” at the “Ministry of Interior”, with the aim of seeing its experience and the services offered to citizens, and exchange of experience between the two parties. The team was briefed on the Ministry of Interior’s experience in implementing the best practices and standards and availing of well-established experiences in this field, where Colonel “Mohammed Hamid Bin Dalmouj Al Dhaheri”, “Strategy and Performance Development” Director General, stressed the keenness of the Ministry to provide distinguished high-quality services to community members. He noted that the ministry strives to work hard and with boundless perseverance to boost performance and achieve satisfaction of customers, partners and community members, adding that the Complaints and Suggestions Department seeks to maintain communication with community members to collect their inquiries, feedback and needs, as well as their impressions about police performance. The delegation members also examined the best practices applied to solve customers’ complaints and grievances of staff members at the ministry, and they were also given a detailed briefing on the complaints’ system’s work mechanism, and an overview of the Ministry of Interior’s experience in developing policies, and the nature of policies, their specifications and their importance in achieving the goals of institutions, in addition to the policies section’s recent notable achievements. The delegation members thanked the “Ministry of Interior” for its continuous support to advance governmental institutions in all fields of development and excellence. They praised the unique services provided by the Complaints and Suggestions Department to community members.
