The Arab League Educational, Cultural and Scientific Organization (ALECSO), signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the Arab-German Chamber of Commerce and Industry, on the sidelines of the 6th Arab-German Education and Vocational Training Forum, held recently in Berlin. The MOU aims to cooperate and establish forums and conferences for the exchange of experiences in the field of vocational and education and training, benefit from the German expertise in the field of technology and research, organize events that serve the rapprochement of cultures between the Arab countries and Germany, organize specialized workshops, develop scientific exchange plans, research, and studies, exchange information, publications, periodicals, statistics, and specialized delegations, and organize joint exhibitions. The MOU was signed by Dr. Abdullah Hamad Muhareb, Director General of ALECSO, and Mr. Abdulaziz Al-Mikhlafi Secretary General of Arab-German Chamber of Commerce and Industry. It is noteworthy that the Forum addressed several topics; "The concepts of dual education", "Rehabilitation of workforce and maintaining it," "Potential and innovative solutions to e-learning", and "Examples of best practices of successful German -Arab cooperation in the field of vocational education and training", and it was attended by more than 300 experts from Germany and the Arab world, where the participants from both sides, from the institutions and companies working in the field of vocational education and training, managed to search, inquire, get acquainted, establish contacts, and hold partnerships. The Arab-German Chamber of Commerce and Industry is an association of public interest that works to serve the common goals of the Arab economy and strengthen the bonds between the Arab countries, the Federal Republic of Germany, and businessmen from both sides.
