His Excellency
Mohamed Meer Abdalla AL Raeesi, Ambassador of the United Arab Emirates to the
Republic of France, held an Iftar banquet for students, trainees, and patients citizens
of the UAE in France, in the presence of members of the Embassy, the Military
Attaché and Police Office in Paris.
The Ambassador
praised the main interest of the State in education and health policy which has
great support and direct guidance from his Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al
Nahyan, and his Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Vice President,
Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, and guidance of his Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan,
Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces,
stressing the desire of the Embassy in Paris to provide better services for
them and their families and to overcome any obstacles that may face the citizens
during their studies and their treatment in Paris and the French regions.
The Ambassador congratulated
the attendees on of the holy month of Ramadan, urging students to grace the
State by being diligent in their studies, wishing a speedy recovery for the citizens
who are receiving treatment in Paris.
The students of the
State in France are more than 700 students, studying in all disciplines,
and they had recently organized the first
forum for Emirati students in France, in cooperation with the Embassy in Paris,
during which they presented their educational situation in universities and
educational institutions in France, in addition to promoting the values of
national affiliation and encouraged students to practice innovation and
creativity in their scientific fields, and discovering the talents and creative
energies they have.
