The Ministry of Education - Higher Education Affairs participated in the Open Day for Graduate Studies, organized by the United Arab Emirates University in Al Ain, on Tuesday, March 8th, 2016, in line with its vision to achieve competitiveness in scientific research in the State at the global level, and in implementation of its mission and strategic objectives that seek to contribute to strengthening the capacity of scientific research as per the high-level competitiveness standards, and it has made great and distinctive efforts to revitalize scientific research in the UAE, support its infrastructure, spread the culture of innovation, transfer and localize modern technology and participate in its development, benefit from the distinctive academic cadres with wide expertise to develop knowledge and science, and raise the level of university education and graduate student research. The Open Day that was concluded at the Grand Hall of the Crescent Building on campus aims to introduce the graduate programs, full and partial scholarships, and inventions, and it also allows for trying them, and meeting graduate programs coordinators. The Ministry’s participation in this day came to introduce students to its initiatives and to publicize its activities, especially in the field of scientific research and the annual awards it launches, in addition to taking advantage of the expertise available in the UAE University which is considered one of the research universities in the State.
