Mohammed bin Zayed: We are determined to make UAE school the perfect place to learn

His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, affirmed that the UAE leadership, government and people believe in the noble message of the teacher and his/her great mission and the importance of his/her role in building and developing human beings and the formation of conscious and enlightened generations who serve their religion, society and homeland.


He stressed the importance of developing the model school, which is characterized by attractive environment and modern facilities, in which there are various elements that ensure the achievement of effective and integrated education, taking into account the use of potential and the exploitation of the development process to make the UAE school the perfect place to learn and ensure educational outputs with high abilities and skills.


This came during his separate meetings with the engineers working on the project of developing educational facilities in the country, accompanied by His Highness Sheikh Abdullah Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, Chairman of the Education and Human Resources Council, and the organizing committee of the “Qudwa” Forum. 


 Educational facilities 

He also reviewed the achievements of developing the educational facilities project. The Ministry of Education recently completed the first phase of the development project as part of an integrated project that was launched at the end of the last academic year in order to improve the status of public schools under its umbrella in different regions of the country.

9 Targets

According to the development plans, the Ministry of Education has set 9 objectives that would enhance the school's building specifications, namely developing the architectural facades and external fences, building student restaurants,  developing the reception hall and main entrance, and establishing a community innovation center which includes robot laboratories, learning resources and a gym.

Developing the administrative rooms and classrooms, making use of spaces, developing laboratories and school facilities, closing all corridors and providing them with conditioning, developing landscapes and green areas, as well as adding fire alarms fire systems.


Quality standards

The Ministry of Education seeks to introduce international quality standards in its schools, starting with the curriculum and efficient teaching staff, through devoting the best class and extracurricular activities, which will gain students a wealth of skills and knowledge, enhance their mental and physical efficiency, and stimulate the educational environment.

The meeting was attended by His Excellency Hussain bin Ibrahim Al Hammadi, Minister of Education, Her Excellency Jameela Bint Salem Musabah Al Muhairi, Minister of State for General Education Affairs, His Excellency Dr. Ahmed bin Abdullah Humaid Al Falasi, Minister of State for Higher Education Affairs, Engineer Abdul Rahman Al Hammadi, Secretary of the Ministry of Education for Supervision and Support Services, And a number of officials in the Ministry of Education.
