All the UAE schools are today celebrating the 88th Saudi National Day. The Ministry of Education directed schools to prepare a morning program which includes a series of activities to highlight this event in an appropriate manner. This aims to introduce our students to the Saudi National Day so as to reinforce the bonds of love, brotherhood and unity between the two brotherly peoples of the United Arab Emirates and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
To the rhythm and tempo of songs and manifestations of joy, the students began their school day amidst many activities that marked this precious occasion, reflecting the strong relations between the people of both countries. A large number of students and teaching staff participated in the celebration. The schools were adorned with flags, pictures, banners, decorations and songs that expressed the celebration of the Saudi National Day.
During the course of the school day, an array of festive events and activities took place, including the Saudi National Anthem during the morning gathering. The school radio and part of Arabic Language, Social Studies and Islamic Education classes were allocated to talk about the strength of brotherly relations between Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates.
The Ministry of Education also directed schools to activate the internal screens at the reception counters by including congratulations to the government and people of Saudi Arabia. The entrance of school buildings were decorated on this occasion with flags, images and manifestations that highlighted this important event.
The activities also included introducing the Saudi and Emirati flags through drawing, painting and coloring at kindergartens, along with national songs and cheers in the courtyard and between the classes. Greeting cards were also distributed for the 88th Saudi National Day.
