Ministry of Education and Emirates College for Advanced Education conclude the first course of “Certified Trainer” Program

The Ministry of Education in Abu Dhabi
and the Emirates College for Advanced Education organized an event in which
they honored 128 teachers for completion of the requirements of the first
course of “Certified Trainer” Program – Level 4 of the national
qualifiers in facilitating education and development – after having fulfilled
all requirements and conditions of the training course in accordance with the
National Qualifications Authority standards. |

Hussain Ibrahim Al
Hammadi, the Minister of Education, H.E. Engineer
Abdulrahman Al Hammadi, Undersecretary of the Ministry for Control and
Supportive Services, H.E. Lubna Ali Al Shamsi, Deputy CEO for School
Operations, Dr. Ibrahim Al Hajri, Director of the Emirates College of
Advanced Education and members of the Board, from both, the Ministry and the
College, Administrative and Training Authorities from the continuing learning
at college in addition to the honoured teachers. |

Certified Trainer is considered
one-of-a-kind nationwide, it aims to enable participants master the required
knowledge, skills and trends that would allow them perform their future roles
confidently and with high quality as professional trainers in education, also
gives them with the ability to offer the required support for their
colleagues as per the newest strategies in training and facilitation. |
|
The program “Certified Trainer”
is known for consolidating between theoretical and scientific aspects which concentrates
on the development of positive trends of each trainer and provide them with
the skills and knowledge that will enable them to perform their roles
efficiently and in high competency, also to provide the appropriate solutions
by applying the concept “learning in work” in addition to building
expertise of the participants in order to develop a real-life, applicable
modules and practices. |

The first course of the program included
two stages, the first had 10 workshops on a period of 4 months (60 training
hours) and mainly discussed five hubs; Analysis of the needs of the targeted
audience, Training design, Development of materials and training, Training
workshops and Evaluating training programs. |
While the second hub focused on the
practical application where participants identified the needs of their
colleagues from education industry then, designed and developed the
materials, trainings and workshops to them in order to cover their needs and
participate in closing the gap between reality and
prospective. |
