Page Content

The MoE has finalized the third edition of the National Ambassadors Program “estedad,” which has been held virtually during the school vacation, in partnership with leading universities and institutions in the country. The program targeted students from grade eight to grade 12 and government, private, and vocational school teachers.

This year’s edition of the program attracted 923 male and female students, 32 male and female distinguished teachers from UAE, and 60 distinguished male and female students from KSA for the second year in a row, as part of the close, strategic cooperation between KSA and UAE in the area of education.

Twenty-nine programs have been implemented under “estedad” by nine strategic partners of the MoE, namely Emirates University, University of Sharjah, American University of Ras Al Khaimah, Abu Dhabi University, Rochester Institute of Technology - Dubai, Ajman University, Khalifa University, Mohammed bin Rashid University of Medicine and Health Sciences, and Injaz UAE.

Her Excellency Dr. Amna Al-Dahak Al-Shamsi, Assistant Undersecretary for Care & Capacity Building Sector at the MoE, said, “The ‘estedad programs’ initiative, launched by the Moe in June 2020, aims to enable the students with knowledge and various skills to enhance their abilities and polish their personalities. The programs will also make it easy for them to engage in university life confidently and boost their chances of success in both their university studies and careers. The programs will also enable teachers to have an effective role in making the education system succeed, as the training opportunities offered to them will enrich and enhance their knowledge and build their research capacities and innovative, creative skills in all areas.”

H.E. praised the distinguished participation of Saudi students in the various programs and tracks of “estedad”. She that a new track had been introduced, namely the cultural and creative industries track, to achieve the UAE's national strategy for creative and cultural industries, launched by His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President, Prime Minister of the UAE, Ruler of Dubai, may Allah preserve him, in 2021.
