In the presence of H.E. Hussein
Ibrahim Al Hammadi, Minister of Education and Mr. Jamal bin Huwaireb, CEO of
Mohamad bin Rashid Al Maktoum Institution for Knowledge, the institution
launched, during its participation in Abu Dhabi International Exhibition for
Book, the second course of “my story” which was organized with the Ministry of
Education, during Dubai international program for Book in order to promote the
position of Arabic Language and sublime with its literature.
Both sides announced expanding the
participation in the competition to include all Arab countries, including UAE.
The competition targets students of second stage and high school, in addition
to the teachers, admins and art teachers in order to develop their literature
skills. It will also include the students of Arab World from government schools
only; otherwise, here, in the UAE, it will include students and universities
from the private sector and government sector alike. Moreover, the teachers
from public schools.

Hussein Al Hammadi, confirmed on the great role that is being performed in the
competition to develop students’ writing skills, which was given great
importance by the Ministry throughout its participation with the institutions
and pioneer programs such as Mohamad bin Rashid Institution for knowledge, as
it is considered a global platform to support and sponsor youth and motivate
them to unleash their imaginations in literature.
H.E. also stressed on the
importance of “my story” because of the expansion in participation therein, to
include the students of secondary and high school in the UAE and Arab World,
which gives this competition great focus and increases the competitiveness
among students.

shed light on the hard work be it done by the Ministry throughout many
initiatives launched in education to increase the lingual competencies and
enable them to master their own mother tongue. The ministry confirms on the
completeness of its efforts in exerting greater efforts by the government
entities to give Arabic language more focus in order to concentrate on Arabic
language as it is considered a language in which it transfer knowledge and
science and a perfect tool to express talents and creativity.
Jamal bin Huwaireb, confirmed that
this competition is considered an important platform in copywriting for both,
students and teachers, in the country, in addition to the Arab World. This second
course of the competition aims to discover creative personnel from all around
the Arab World in order to support and sponsor their literature production
throughout the cooperation with the Book Union and Arab publishers to publish
the books of winners in the competitions and adapt their talents which will,
eventually, create a knowledgeable relations among all Arab talented people.
