Mohammed bin Zayed’s
Award for the Best Gulf Teacher management has announced the start of the first
stage of the evaluation stages of the works participated in the Award. Thus,
the best 25 participants of each state would be selected as a first stage.
Furthermore, personal interviews would be conducted with the candidates for coming
up with a list of the best participants received for the award. This would pave
the way to select the best 6 teachers in GCC countries at the final evaluation
stage.
His Excellency Hussain
Al-Hammadi, Minister of Education and General Supervisor of the Award said that
Mohammed bin Zayed’s Award for the Best Gulf Teacher will emerge a positive
movement within the galleries of the educational field in the GCC countries.
This would dedicate the best modern educational practices in the region, in
addition to its role in eternizing the pioneering experiments of the teachers,
and motiving the educational cadres to behave in the same manner and follow the
same track.
His Excellency has explained
that the evaluation processes are conducted with the participation of reputable
experts with a long term of expertise in the field of educational work. The
first stage known as the sedentary evaluation where the applications of the
teachers participating in the Award would be submitted electronically in order
to ensure the transparency of the evaluation and increase the efficiency and
activity of the evaluation process. Hence, the best 25 applications of each country
would be determined. Consequently, moving to the second stage of the evaluation
process is by conducting personal interviews with the participants who would be
interviewed in their countries under the supervision of the Ministry of
Education in the GCC countries. Furthermore, a list of the teachers, who have
prominent educational experiences, would be set up for preliminary selection of
the best 6 teachers who have achieved the best results in the evaluation and
proved the sound positive impact for their educational roles.
His Excellency has
clarified that the field teams of the Award are constantly working in order to
select the best educational experiments in the GCC countries, and work to make
them prominent for leading to a quality shift in the educational system of the concerned
country. Thus, the Award would gain a strategic dimension holding in its folds
the message of our wise leadership and its long term vision for promoting the
education reality in GCC contries.
His Excellency Dr. Ali
bin Abdul Khaliq Al-Qarni, Head of the High Committee of the Award, has also stressed
that the Award procedures are moving on the pace, which fits the position and
importance of this Grand Award and its expected role in motivating the
education field, and raising the educational performance in the Golf countries
which would be reflected positively on the efforts which the Gulf countries are
exerting to improve its educational system and taking it to wider and broader
horizons of update and competition not at the regional level only but at the
international level as well.

Engineer Abdul Rahman Al Hamadi, the Undersecretary of the Ministry of
Education for Supervision and Support Services, Deputy of the Head of the High
Committee, has stated that the award is working to promote the concept of the
sustainability of education in our region through motivating the educational
field cadres in the GCC countries to provide their best educational experience
and practical practices reflected on the students in schools which means the
achievement of the best images of the investment of the human capital in these
countries which places them at the forefront of the countries seeking to
develop its educational systems worldwide.
Dr. Hamad Aldermaki, General
Secretary of the Award, has stressed that the Award’s pioneering role in
updating the educational work criteria in the GCC countries through its role in
enhancing the teacher position in the educational field and the social communities
as well. The award is targeting the main focus of the educational process which
is the teacher who has the responsibility of building the students’ minds and
providing them with the required knowledge and talents for the continuity of
the growth and development in the GCC countries.
