The National Qualifications Center (NQC) of the Ministry of Education (MoE) issued a certificate of accreditation to the Judicial Training Institute of the Ministry of Justice (MoJ), after the Institute had fulfilled the technical requirements and conditions for accreditation established by the NQC. The Institute will offer and accredit professional qualifications in the judicial and legal sector. It will also monitor the accredited training institutions or those wishing to offer qualifications or professional courses and ensure the quality of the professional qualifications and certificates.
The NQC aims to enable and qualify specialized national cadres in all specializations, in line with the vision of the wise leadership.
Prof. Dr. Mohamed Yousif Baniyas, Higher Education Advisor, Director of NQC, said that the NQC boosted the march towards achieving excellence and leadership in training and education. He added that this would eventually achieve knowledge sustainability, develop institutional capacities and enablers, and qualify human cadres with knowledge to use modern technologies, participate in the march towards excellence, and develop the services that meet the expectations of the customers.
He explained that the NQC was looking forward, through partnerships with the various national institutions and bodies, to achieving the best outcomes that would enhance the human elements, qualify them professionally, and enable them to be competitive, in line with the requirements and needs of development of institutional work, according to the best global indicators.
Prof. Dr. Baniyas also applauded the cooperation of the Judicial Training Institute with the NQC to meet the requirements and conditions of accreditation. He explained that this would help qualify specialized national competencies that enhance the position of the country at the judicial and professional levels, achieve cooperation in the development of law programs in universities, and improve the outcomes of development of competencies and professional standards. He added that the institute would also cooperate in accrediting the training centers that would offer legal and judicial courses and accredit the relevant qualifications.
For his part, Jude Mohammed Mahmoud Al-Kamali, General Director of the Judicial Training Institute, stressed the importance of fulfilling the technical requirements and conditions for accreditation by the NQC, as the body granting professional accreditation. He added that this would achieve the strategic objectives of the MoJ, which adopted the best practices in qualifying the distinguished professional competencies and developed legal and judicial programs to implement the practical, scientific training courses
Al-Kamali also highlighted the efforts made by the NQC to promote and develop the capabilities of the human elements and qualifications. He added that this was part of the effective national role of the NQC in supporting the march towards excellence, leadership, comprehensive development, and knowledge. He highly appreciated the partnership, which he said would have a significant effect on the integration of the country's institutions.
