The First Conference on Early Childhood Development examines Best Practices for child care in the UAE

Today, Monday, the first conference on early childhood development in the United Arab Emirates, which is organized by the Ministry of Education was launched at the Teacher Training Center in Ajman and will last for three days. The conference is entitled "Redesigning Early Childhood Care and Education Services", and is the result of cooperation between the Ministry of Education and the Supreme Council for Motherhood and Childhood in the UAE, UNESCO International Bureau of Education and UNICEF.

The conference is a milestone achievement for the Ministry of Education, as it provides an exceptional platform for decision makers, leaders in education and teachers in the UAE to learn about the latest global research on early childhood care and education, adopting the best practices of modern child care, ensuring their rearing and development in a sound and scientific manner.

The conference was attended by Her Excellency Jameela Bint Salem Al Muhairi, Minister of State for Public Education and Her Excellency Hessa Buhumaid, Minister of Community Development, in the presence of His Excellency Marwan Al-Sawaleh, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Education for Academic Affairs and Her Excellency Sana Mohammed Suhail, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Community Development and a number of educational leaders and officials.

1100 participants

 The conference, which includes 3 sessions in the first day and 17 workshops, will bring together about 1100 male and female teachers and educational leaders. It also includes 55 experts and educators who will exchange and share experiences and the latest developments in early childhood.
