At a seminar called for concerted institutional efforts "The Higher Education" emphasizes the importance of activating the Emirati qualifications system.

The Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research has confirmed the importance of activating the Emirati qualifications system and to be included in the licensing and accreditation criteria issued by the Commission for Academic Accreditation at the Ministry last year, and enhance the role of this system in helping graduates holding qualifications to relocate their study or work in other countries in light of the global communication in the world of knowledge
 
 
Dr. Saeed Hamad Al Hassani-Undersecretary of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research revealed for "Al-Etihad" yesterday about joint plans and programs between the ministry and a number of relevant authorities to upgrade the system, pointing out that the quality of the educational outcomes of specialized personnel is at the top of the Ministry's agenda and strategy, so that these outputs are according to the international standards that the labor market in the country and the world recognize.
 
The Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research has organized in conjunction with the "National Qualifications Authority" yesterday a scientific symposium to activate the qualifications system UAE in the headquarters of Zayed University in Abu Dhabi, in the presence of managers and administrators of quality assurance in the public and private higher education institutions in the country, a seminar will be also organized in Dubai on Thursday at the university premises.
 
D. Al hassani has confirmed the importance of this meeting, which comes within the framework of the plan of Implementation of the circular of establishing the "National Authority for Qualifications" issued by His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the UAE, in August 2010, where the Authority developed and approved the EMARATI qualification system in order to make sure that all the educational institutions issues certificates that comply with the international standards.
 
Hassani pointed out that the ministry is working on an ongoing basis to upgrade standards in licensing and accreditation processes to ensure that the outputs of educational programs are with the global levels.
