Abu Dhabi, July 9, 2016- His Excellency Dr. Ahmad Belhoul Al Falasi, Minister of State for Higher Education, launched today a customer service e-Platform that will provide the Ministry of Education’s services outside normal working hours during the Holy Month of Ramadan.
The e-Platform will be operated by trained customer service representatives. It aims to provide convenience and greater accessibility of the services offered by the Ministry, including information about foreign scholarships and equivalency certificates, in addition to other requests as they relate to higher education. The new platform is available in addition to current customer service centers at the Ministry's headquarters in Abu Dhabi and Dubai, with the added advantage of working hours from 8:00 pm until midnight throughout the week.
“We follow a well-defined and thorough strategy in our approach to customer service that is centered on the continuous development and improvement of the platforms we adopt to provide our services,” His Excellency Dr. Ahmad Belhoul Al Falasi said. “The introduction of this e-Platform coincides with the lead up to the announcement of high school exam scores and a remarkable increase in the number of students who are interested in learning more about the services we provide in higher education, including information about university admissions, scholarships, and various academic disciplines. These efforts also align with government’s overall objective of ensuring that access to public services is easy and user-friendly, with customer satisfaction as our main priority.”
“The Ministry is committed to improving the quality of higher education by adopting the best education practices and techniques,” H.E. added. “Our services include guiding and orienting secondary education students on the academic disciplines that are aligned with the UAE’s national plans and in line with their capabilities and interests. The Ministry’s Academic Guidance Office identifies the fields of specialization available within and outside the UAE and highlights recognized academic institutions worldwide. On this occasion, I would like to invite students and parents to visit the newly launched e-platform to take advantage of the various services we provide and share feedback about their experience.”
The Ministry of Education has launched this e-Platform in a number of malls and shopping centers across the UAE, enabling a wider reach of its service offerings.
