In line with the
directives of the “Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research” in the
development of scientific research, and promoting its excellence in the world
to achieve the “Vision 2021” and finding research leadership in the State, to
provide multidisciplinary scientific programs, which meet the aspirations of
students, " Zayed
University” Council recently approved to launch new specialties, and modify the
names of others, in addition to the approval of the admission policy for the
academic year (2014/2015).
The Council held a
meeting under the chairmanship of her Excellency Dr. "Maitha Salem
Al-Shamsi," Minister of State, President of the University, at the
university campus in “Abu Dhabi”, the Council agreed to offer a Bachelor of "Marketing
and Entrepreneurship” within the disciplines of “College of Business”, and the cancelation
of the Marketing degree that was offered before.
It also agreed to
change the name of the "Bachelor of Arts and Design” to " “Bachelor
of Fine Arts”, and increase the number
of courses offered by the program to enable students to choose course in other
faculties, to complement the main specialization in the field of Arts, which
provides them with more career options upon graduation.
The Council also
approved changing the name of "Master of Science in Management in
International Business" to "Master of Management in International
Business ", the Board considered that this name change would be more
suitable for global standards; it would be more attractive to current and
