UAE is first globally in attracting talents, and fourth in providing them

The UAE ranked first in attracting minds and talents, making it a model for other countries, this is based on a recent study published by LinkedIn Corporation, which is the largest electronic professional network in the world featuring over 300 million professionals in all specialties, it is based in the United States, the company reached that conclusion after having calculated through its user base the movement of brains and talent among countries between entry and exit.

Dr. Saeed Al-Hassani, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Higher Education And Scientific Research, said that it's not the first time the State achieves indicators of this kind, particularly those related to employment and higher education. In another similar study made to plan the workforce, UAE ranked fourth as the most attractive educational destination in the world, it was promoted by winning the 2020 Expo, which offers the opportunity to create more jobs in various industrial sectors, where the Expo will create more than 277,000 jobs in the UAE during the period from 2013 to 2021, which in turn will reduce the percentage of brain migration abroad, due to the phenomenon  in the educational sector where students are leaving home to obtain educational programs.

Al-Hassani added that this provision establishes the perfect environment for students who have completed high school, and provides a high transparency, good governance and equal opportunities atmosphere for all, and providing students with high-quality educational programs opens them gainful employment in the future, in response to the directives of the leadership in strengthening the position of the State as a destination for global learning, and achieve global competitiveness in higher education and scientific research, which constitutes a source of attraction and recruitment of brains and talent, supporting its vision to create a knowledge-based economy.
