A conference exploring the future of international trade in light of the World Trade Organization in Jordan

Zarqa University in the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan is holding the tenth International Scientific Conference under the theme of "Exploring the future of international trade in the light of the World Trade Organization", on the (3-4) of December 2014, as a continuation of the policy of the University in this field.

The Conference aims to analyze the terms of reference of the new global trading system and the role of the World Trade Organization (WTO), and examine the role of foreign investments in light of the new global trading system, in addition to recent developments in international trade and the analysis of the reality of the Arab trade and Arab commercial relations, it also aims to identify future Arab business relations in light of the references of the new world trading system.

The Conference will adopt a number of topics including the economic hub and includes movement and trends in international trade under the World Trade Organization, movement and trends of Arab trade, as well as the prospects for international and Arab economic integration under the WTO, and the movement of foreign investment and its implications, and the role of the WTO in achieving the sustainable development of the Arab trade, while the axis of the administrative and management information systems strategic planning includes Arab economies under the World Trade Organization, and administrative challenges and problems facing the international trade in this century, the future of investment in information technology on an international scale and its impact on international trade, data privacy in e-commerce, and e-supply chain management on a global scale. There will be an accounting axes and accounting information systems and international trade in light of the international auditing and accounting standards, and the impact of international trade on the strategic management of accounting, and international trade and its impact on tax accounting policies, auditing and audit of information technology, as well as the shift in accounting information systems in light of international e-commerce, while the financial and Islamic banks axes will include challenges facing Islamic banks under global trade agreements, Islamic finance and its role in the creation of a unified Arab-Islamic economy, as well as banking competition under the WTO, and the risks of currency management and Arab financial markets under the WTO requirements. And the last axis is marketing and addresses Arab market development and the role of the World Trade Organization in raising the efficiency of the marketing of products and the development of Arab modern trends in marketing and consumer behavior patterns and modern marketing strategies under world trade agreements.

The Conference management noted that participants must send a summary of research with the participation form and information about the scientific biography of the researcher by 2/10/2014 at the latest, that falls within the themes of the Conference, in Arabic or English, where the scientific research would be subject to arbitration by the Scientific Committee of the Conference, the research will be printed on a word file and sent by email to eco.conf@zu.edu.jo by 31/10/2014.
