The “Ministry of
Higher Education and Scientific Research” announced that the last day for
submitting applications for “Higher Colleges of Technology” for the second
semester (2013-2014) is Thursday (30th) of January 2014.
The Ministry has
started receiving applications for the second semester for the three universities
in November 2013, and advised to make the needed amendments to the choices of the
students regarding the educational institutions and programs of study and
completion of the required documents by the deadline for the submission of
applications in accordance with each University.
The “Ministry of
Higher Education and Scientific Research” had previously urged (12th)
grade students to register for educational proficiency exam in English language
"CEPA-English", and make sure to upload all their data and attach all
required documents, including a “personal photo”, and adhere to the timelines
of submission of the application by the (23rd) of February 2014, so that they
can enter the exam on the "first opportunity" on the (8th) of March
2014, and stated that in the case of a student that applies after that date but
before the (27th) of April 2014, will be given only one chance to take the
examination on the(10th) of May 2014.
The Ministry asked
its students to make sure to print out the "CEPA-English" exam ticket
as soon as they are available on the student’s page on the portal to present it at the exam Center,
which contains important information including the date, place and time of the
examination, a text message(SMS) will be sent one day prior to the exam date to
remind students of the date and place of the examination, and after the exam
results will appear in the “Reports” box on the students electronic page as
soon as the papers are corrected, another text message (SMS) with the score
will be sent to the student’s mobile.
The Ministry had
previously announced the deadline to apply for the second semester of the “UAE
University” on the (26th) of January 2014, and for "Zayed
University" on the (16th) of January 2014.
