
Paris-Sorbonne
University Abu Dhabi offers 6 new academic programs with the beginning of the
academic year 2014/2014, in order to keep up with the recent specialties and
the needs of the labor market in the State.
The programs
include: Master in Muslim and Arab World Studies, Social Research: Consulting, Survey,
and Evaluation, Transports, Logistics, Territories, and Environment, Contemporary
Sites Science(Geodynamics), and Health Economics, in addition to the new
Bachelor’s program “Social Sciences”, so that the number of Bachelor’s programs
at the University has become 11 programs.
Professor Eric
Fouache, Vice Chancellor the University, emphasized that Paris-Sorbonne University
Abu Dhabi is a pioneer in providing international academic education, and it
seeks to produce academically qualified and knowledgeable students who are able
to compete in the labor market, in consistence with the ambitious vision of the
State, pointing out that the specialties at the Bachelor’s and Master’s levels
were offered after a serious study for the reality of the labor market and its
needs, and they are taught in the same way as at the University’s branch in
France, and of the same strength and adopted standards at the France branch,
with attention to suitability to the Emirati society. In the end, the graduate
student obtains a certificate from Paris-Sorbonne University France.
The student who
applies to the enroll in the Master’s programs is required to have a Bachelor’s
degree, and should have a good level of English, and should submit a complete
file that includes his certificates, skills, and experience, and the personal
interview that the student will undergo after he/she meets the conditions of
registration, which will be with the director of Master’s programs, is considered
an important and fundamental part in selecting him/her before they enroll in
the program.
