Smart Learning Best Practices Forum next October

In support of the initiative of his Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum’s, Vice President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, Initiative for Smart Learning, the e-TQM Institute at Hamdan Bin Mohammed Smart University is organizing the Smart Learning Best Practice Forum 2014, on the 20^th of October 2014, to encourage the exchange and sharing of the best practices in smart learning in educational institutions and corporates across the world.

The Forum aims to raise the quality of education standards through smart learning, to raise quality standards in education through smart learning, to promote innovation and entrepreneurship in smart learning practices across the world, to exchange and share best practices in smart learning in educational institutions and corporates across the world, to document and publish the smart learning best practices in educational institutions and corporates across the international platform and to recognize and honor the institutions involved in the best practices.

The Smart Learning Best Practice Forum 2014 includes symposia and panel discussions under seven tracks that include: Smart Learning that addresses the needs of the educational institution in light of the rapid changes through exploitation of information and communication technologies to raise the qualifications of the learners, Learner Centricity which addresses building a culture of learning in the first place, and includes the design, development and delivery of smart and distinctive learning experiences, and the orientation towards excellence as a key goal of the educational practices that must be based on the principle of quality which ensures a competitive advantage to the educational institution, Excellence Orientation which addresses the need to build strategic partnerships and pay attention to the quality of the educational institutions that aspire to be world-class, Technology Exploitation which deals with the utilization of the latest technologies to enable the flow of knowledge and information seamlessly and provide support to the highest levels of quality, Resource Utilization this track examines the concept of not only of financial and material resources but also the knowledge system which is most important in achieving sustainability and competitiveness, and Process Innovation which examines the ability of educational institutions to assess their experiences in terms of ensuring the sustainability of the innovation processes.

The Forum holds through the establishment of a strong and integrated platform for e-learning, involving teachers, students, and parents effectively, as part of efforts to improve education as a fundamental component of UAE Vision 2021.Participants can submit their request for Smart Learning Best Practice Award which is dedicated to honoring educational institutions and organizations that operate in the field of smart learning from around the world on the best practices they have, the Award consists of seven integrated categories that have a major impact on the process of providing an effective smart learning experience, and guide the process of smart education in a modern context, the seven categories compose the main pillars of excellence in smart education.
