The International
Conference on Special Education is to be organized in Sharjah, UAE, from the 12th to 14th of January, 2015,
by Rovan Organization for Training and Conferences, in order to present the
most important developments in the field of special education, and provide an
opportunity to discuss ways to improve and reform the educational process in
this area, as well as explore the impact of new developments, including the
methods of evaluation, education, and health, and the development of plans for
the care of people with special needs.
During the
Conference, the most successful methodologies will be discussed, and innovative
ways will be provided to meet the educational needs of all students with
special needs in primary and secondary education, and after the age of 18.
The Conference will
also address, in the accompanying scientific sessions and workshops, a number
of studies, researches, and experiments that will be presented by the
participating professors from universities and bodies on topics related to the
following axes: the modern methods of diagnosis and measurement, modern
teaching strategies in special education, treatment and rehabilitation programs,
early intervention programs, support services and modern technology,
preparation of the special education teacher in light of the quality standards
and contemporary global trends, modern visions about the integration of people
with disabilities and the talented, the field and applied studies, the legal systems
and provisions and international conventions to persons with disabilities, the
research of graduate students in the field of special education, measurement
and diagnosis, early intervention, the mental disabilities, the audio-visual
disabilities, the physical disabilities, studies of autism, learning
difficulties and underachievement, methods of teaching special education,
techniques and strategies for rehabilitation and teaching in special education,
the rights of the disabled people and their families, social and family counseling,
and the support services for people with disabilities and their families.
The participants in
the Conference are leaders in the higher education sectors at the universities
and colleges, agents of universities, deans and counselors of special
education, faculty members at universities and colleges, consultants and experts
in special education, researchers and specialists in the field of special
education, and Master's and Doctoral students.
