Saudi Arabia is
hosting during the period from the 15th – 18th of April
2015, the sixth International Exhibition and Conference on Higher Education
amid Arab and international participation in the Riyadh International
Convention & Exhibition Center.
The Conference aims
to connect with universities and higher education institutions, and link them
under one roof with their local counterparts to take advantage of their
experience and expertise to contribute to the development of higher education,
creating an academic environment exceeding the limits to new heights of global
cooperation and partnership agreements and to encourage local universities to
develop their scientific standards to reach that of international institutions,
in addition to providing an opportunity
for the community with its various groups, institutions and individuals, in
particular those looking for scholarships, to identify institutions of higher
education in Saudi Arabia and the world.
It is expected that
the workshops during the Conference to discuss all the topics related to higher
education and to upgrade and improve it by introducing new perspectives and
innovative methods in the teaching and learning process, and addressing several topics such as
research, trends, issues of contemporary and modern research facilities and
research networks, and for
the administration of universities to follow the best practice in the
development of policies and educational strategies to promote and encouraging
universities to play their role, and enhancing the quality of the higher education output, and how to
achieve a balance between the academic traditions and the quality of the new speech
of quality, and discuss the implications of the concept of globalization that is
resonating in the halls of higher education at the present time.
In the last session
of the Conference in 2014, 451 exhibitors from 34 countries, representing 34
local universities and institutions of higher education, and 338 international
university and institution have participated.
