The United Nations,
through its celebration of this year's International Youth Day, aims to
complete its interest in the subject of migration of young people which it put
forward in 2013, and on which it highlighted the causes of migration, valued
its positive effects, and tried to address the negative ones, and its slogan for
this year is: Youth and Mental Health. Migration also provides valuable
opportunities and contributes to the development of local communities and
society as a whole. It can also lead to risks and unacceptable situations, such
as racism and exploitation, which lead to psychological symptoms that, in turn,
lead to their exclusion and discourage their desire to seek help, for fear of labeling
them with negative societal qualities.
The Organization is
seeking through out this year to highlight the experiences of courage for some
young people who have chosen to talk about it in order to overcome
discrimination, and to ensure the provision of care and health conditions
appropriate for these young people in order to enjoy the conditions of a
healthy and complete life free of isolation and shame, and provide them with the
services and support they need.

adulthood phase is considered a radical change phase, and the journey from
childhood to the adult world may be complex, which raises many issues related
to mental health, that the theme of International Youth Day this year is Youth
and Mental Health, and the enjoyment of young women and men with mental health
is necessary to maintain the health of society as a whole, as they are the
source of innovative ideas and leaders of positive change.
