The “Scholarship
Office” (SCO) of the “Ministry of
Presidential Affairs” announced that next Thursday (31/10/2013) is the deadline
for the President’s Scholarship to outstanding students.
According to the
Director of the Office Dr. "Ali Al Arri" the number of Emirati graduates since its
launch in 1999 reached (279) students, who were important to the UAE labor
market supplying it with qualified personnel, required by the of sustainable
development in different specialties. Especially since these cadres have
received academic and applied preparation in accordance with international
standards in the world's finest universities, which the scholarship management
adheres to for the preparation of these
cadres to be able to engage in the labor market. The graduates currently occupy
a number of distinct positions in the areas of medicine and health sciences,
engineering, economics, management and other specialties that address the needs
of national development.
The admission and
registration office stated that the applicants for the scholarship must get (90%)
or above in high school diploma, pass the English placement test, the
capabilities and professional orientation test and the SAT test for private
school students, in addition to the personal interview conducted with the aim
of assessing students and identifying their abilities ,capabilities and their ability
to study in the distinguished
international universities.
