
The Ministry of Higher
Education and Scientific Research is always keen on playing its role in sectors
of education, training and employment, and providing the UAE and Arab markets
with the requirements, needs, competencies and skills needed to achieve
sustainable development, and from its objective to supply the required
information of higher education and accredited academic institutions to all
involved, and the willingness of Government Communications Department in the
Ministry to cooperate with various stakeholders, in pursuit of that role, the
Ministry will sign on Tuesday (3/9/2013) a memorandum of understanding with IIR Middle East to regulate the relationship
between the parties during the "Najah" exhibition
(education-training-employment) to be held from 29-31 October 2013, at the Abu-Dhabi
National Exhibition Center.
The memorandum identifies
several details; includes how the Ministry will support the exhibition, from
using the logo of the Ministry, and lists of licensed private higher education
institutions and programs approved, accredited higher education institutions abroad,
and to provide a platform for the
Ministry.
The Ministry
participates annually in the exhibition to educate students, parents and the
target audience, and offer information about the importance of attending
accredited higher education institutions abroad and licensed ones inside the
State, and to coordinate acceptance of students
in governmental institutions of higher education, and to explain the importance
of the certification system to students among other things, and choosing the
appropriate specialties according to the needs of the labor market.
