The "Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research" congratulates the people of the UAE on the occasion of the Accession Day of the President Sheikh “Khalifa bin Zayed bin Sultan Al-Nahyan”.

Congratulates the State with a leader who during his reign the State is leading in the international platforms, and in global indicators and benchmarks, securing better standards of living for its people, in a nurturing environment, and under a strong and secure Union, in which the UAE people stride with confidence and ambition, equipped with knowledge and creativity to build a competitive, resilient and cohesive community.

The UAE ranked first in the Arab World and fourteenth in the world in the satisfaction and happiness index of 2013, to prove that it is a moral welfare state not solely a material one, with the arrival of the State's gross domestic product (GDP) to around (342) billion dollars, and according to the "Legatum Institute", the UAE ranked first in the Middle East, and (28th) worldwide in the Prosperity Index 2013.

His Highness Sheikh “Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan” sees that the State and its leaders should not be concerned only with its own people but all humanity, for the State to be in the (16th) position in giving, and undertake in their sustainable development projects the responsibility for the education of children in the world and providing them with clothing and shelter.

To maintain that role, his Excellency Sheikh “Hamdan Bin Mubarak Al Nahyan” Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research stressed that we must maintain the first rankings acquired by the State in 2012 on performance indicators for global competitiveness and seeking to win additional indicators. In education specifically the state was first globally in the number of students in higher education, and the third in the world in the proportion of students enrolled in higher education from outside the State, and eighth globally in the number of students' movement into the State. His Excellency the Minister said that a set of key indicators will be chosen that will be highlighted during the (12)-month period so the State is ranked first according to the directives of the wise State leadership.
