The "Ministry of Higher Education And Scientific Research" announced that (96%) of (12th) grade students on the State level, who amount to (16,5000) students performed on Saturday the (8th) of March the educational proficiency exam in English language "CEPA-English".

The Ministry said the exam took place in (25) centers outlined previously by the Ministry at the "UAE University", "Higher Colleges of Technology" and "Zayed University" and "Dalma Island Center”.

This exam is the “first opportunity” for students who applied to take the exam, the Ministry clarified that in case of submitting an application after this date and before (27/4/2014), the student will be given only one chance to take the exam on (10/5/2014) to calculate the highest score obtained by which acceptance is determined in these institutions.

The highest score of the two scores obtained on the two opportunities of the exam will be counted, and it will accordingly determine their acceptance at the higher education institutions in the new academic year, in case of not taking the “CEPA-English” exam; the student’s application will not be considered for enrollment in the higher education institutions of the State or the scholarships for studying abroad at the expense of the “Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research”.
