Leaders at the Ministry of Education: Appreciation of the Teacher’s efforts whose prominent role’s have contributed to the UAE’s education development
The Leaders at the Ministry of Education have emphasized that the course of education in the United Arab Emirates has become more up-to-date with this era’s modernity and international streamlines, and is gaining further value. We sincerely look forward to evolving our education into a global scenario with the boundless efforts our educational arena has to offer.
This statement was made on the occasion of World Teachers’ Day, celebrated on 5th October each year. The Leaders at the Ministry of Education consider education in the UAE to have greatly developed thanks to the high calibre and competencies of teachers, which the Ministry count upon in the future to achieve its educational plans; stating that teachers constitute the main pillar in the development of education and the ultimate achievement of its goals in the creation of a moral, educated and knowledgeable generation.
On this occasion, HE Hussain Al Hammadi, Minister of Education, congratulated all teaching staff, stating: I am pleased to extend my sincere congratulations on the occasion of “World Teachers’ Day”, a day which we celebrate with remarkable pride in the United Arab Emirates, in gratitude of teacher’s supreme and pioneering roles in the creation of the proper foundations of civilization. The profession of teaching by far surpasses any other in the present day for its deep influence and importance, as education is the safe pillar of modern societies.
He added: We have full trust in your incredible competencies, determination and dedication for the achievement of our Leaders’ vision in placing UAE education at a global forefront. You are the leaders of change, the engineers of development and the partners of advancement. You are the innovators that work in silence but leave a clear print that effectively contributes to refining the personalities of our children, developing their skills, and steering their talents towards accomplishing the goals of sustainable advancement, centred on future anticipation and innovation.
I believe that teachers, with their education and experience, are the keystones to achieving the desired education and elevating it to the highest levels. It is teachers who uncover the passion of drive in their students and extend happiness and positivity in the community, and contribute to the dissemination of goodness and giving.
From her side, HE Jameela Al Muhairi, Minister of State for Public Education, said: “A tribute of respect, love and appreciation to every teacher in the UAE. I am delighted to congratulate you on the occasion of “World Teachers’ Day”, stressing that all teachers in the country participate in the determination of the fate and future of our country, through their presence at the front lines of our educational system”.
She added: We place our full trust in the teacher to lead the educational journey in UAE, in accordance with international principles and standards, and we shall continue to provide them with the necessary support, in order to reap achievements and dedicate best practices conforming to the education system.
She continued: On this occasion, we look at those honourable teachers that have effectively contributed to the building of this country. We are collectively called upon to raise the status of teachers. It is our duty to offer appreciation and recognition toward the phenomenal efforts exerted by our teachers, and to be proud of those generations they help in graduating. Their contributions will continue to be the basis behind the rise of our country.
HE Dr. Ahmad Belhoul Al Falasi, Minister of State for Higher Education, considered “World Teachers’ Day” an important occasion locally, during which we are reminded of the eminent value and efforts behind the teaching profession, stating that the teacher is, and will remain to be, the basis behind the advancement and development of societies.
His Excellency continued to say that the Ministry will spare no effort in paving the way for teachers and strengthening their presence in the educational arena as the most crucial element to make a difference through education, experience and skills; and his unrelenting force in uncovering each student’s gifts, capabilities and talents while developing and refining the same. It is the teacher who creates generations that are loyal, and guarantee a bright future for their country in line with this country’s aspirations and the vision of its wise leadership who consider education as a place of excellence and global leadership.
Marwan Al Sawaleh, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Education for Public Education Academic Affairs, expressed his joy on the occasion of Word Teachers’ Day, and in his pride at the unrelenting giving, saying: “The teacher’s message is the most gracious and honorable of messages. Teachers will remain to be a higher goal we seek to empower, and grant them prominent roles within the educational system, because we totally trust in their abilities, expertise and knowledge which provided Emirati schools with new features that have bolstered its presence on the global arena.
He clarified that that the teacher has become a fundamental part in the planning and preparation of educational policies at the Ministry. He has attained this role through his commitment, dedication and loyalty to work, and his ability to present innovative and motivating ideas, the effect of which has been reflected in the noticeable development in the UAE’s education sector.
He concluded by saying that the respect and appreciation afforded to teachers are an acquired right as they are a symbol of giving, and a source of educational and moral knowledge reflected upon society as a whole, confirming that what we have achieved in terms of noticeable development in education, is a result of our trust and belief in teacher’s capabilities and the high-quality outcome of their work.
Eng. Abdulrahman Al Hammadi, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Education for Control and Support Services Affairs, stated that, in accordance with our strategy in the UAE, teachers enjoy remarkable attention since we work on a regular basis to increase their competencies and provide them with the latest educational tools which they can utilize as required by modern education principles. This attention shows our commitment to providing our teachers with the best practices and modern methods in education, to enable them to perform their mission to the fullest.
From her side, Sheikha Khulood Al Qassimi, Assistant Undersecretary of Inspection Sector at the Ministry, said that the teacher is the basis of education and one of the most important elements of the education system. It is with, and through the teacher, that we accomplish the basic purpose of effective education centered on innovation and analytical thinking away from stereotype. She stated that the teacher is the basis of change and source of education and knowledge, and if he is proficient in his field of specialization, such excellence will be positively reflected upon the entire educational process.
She clarified that teachers are given unrivaled attention by the wise Leadership, adding that this is the result of deep respect for teachers and their solid role in the formation of future generations, empowering Emirati youths to take initiative, continue the process of development, and maintain aptitudes and achievements.
