The
Ministry of Education (MoE) carried out 2,453 field and virtual inspection
visits at the beginning of the new school year to verify the compliance of
educational institutions with applying precautionary measures in preparation
for students’ return.
MoE
also carried out virtual inspection visits on the distance learning platforms
to ensure their safety, efficiency, and ability to achieve their goals.
The
Ministry’s inspection teams carried out a variety of visits with a total of
1,293 field inspection visits, including 792 visits to public schools, 326
visits to private schools, 132 visits to nurseries, and 43 visits to higher
education institutions. It also carried out 1160 virtual visits to verify the
safety and readiness of the educational platforms for public and higher
education institutions, including the attendance of more than 18,000 virtual
classes in addition to monitoring 2352 electronic tests. In addition, 43
virtual visits to training platforms designated for members of the teaching and
administrative staff in schools across the UAE were carried out, and 1353
inspection visits were carried out to verify the nurseries ’compliance with the
ministry’s decision to suspend staff work and stop receiving children within
those facilities during the suspension period as well as implementing
inspection visits to school uniform distribution centers to verify the
compliance of the sales centers with the instructions and requirements of the
ministry.
