The scientific committee of the Aqdar World Summit announced
that the second summit, to be held under the theme 'The Role of Human
Empowerment in Developing Stable Societies: Sustainable Development’, will hear
from top local and international speakers, including Sheikh Nahyan bin Mubarak
Al Nahyan, Minister of Tolerance, and Zaki Nusseibeh, Minister of State.
The scientific committee for the summit stressed that the
sessions addressed by the two UAE ministers will focus on various topics to
help individuals develop strong, stable and sustainable societies, assimilate
moral and ethical values, as well as concepts to become active members in their
families, working environment and communities, while encouraging them towards
self-change and constructive participation in the community to achieve positive
results.
Further, the committee pointed out that the scientific
programme for this summit would focus on significant topics, such as Sheikh
Zayed’s strategies to empower people, sustainable education for a flourishing
nation, building countries on the foundations of justice and peace, gender
parity for a better society, sustainable goals and successful partnerships,
smart infrastructure for sustainable nations, and human development for
economic growth.
The preparations for the summit, which will be held from
26th-28th November 2018 at the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre, ADNEC, is
still in progress, and will be organised by the Khalifa Empowerment Programme,
Aqdar, in partnership and cooperation with INDEX Conferences and Exhibitions,
with and support of the United Nations, as well as a number of local and
international bodies.
Aqdar World Summit is an international platform that aims to
develop sustainable societies, empower individuals, and support important
initiatives and awareness programmes that benefit communities.
The summit will bring together
leaders, experts, and high-profile speakers from various fields to discuss the
main theme and develop important impact-based initiatives and recommendations
to make a positive mark on the community
