His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai, said: "We are so proud of our youth. We invite them to be more creative and distinguished in all fields of science, knowledge, technology and manufacturing techniques in all their fields and disciplines because the country needs the determination of young people. They are, undoubtedly, the focus of our generous leadership headed by His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the UAE, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, and the follow-up of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi Deputy Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, who does not hesitate to support the youth of the homeland. He gives them attention and care and follow-up, and believes in the importance of this segment of our society which is rich in human competencies and creative national cadres in various fields ».
Progress
His Highness the Crown Prince of Dubai, during his visit to the exhibition accompanying the events of the forty-fourth session of the International Skills Competition at Abu Dhabi International Exhibition Center, said that the Global Skills Competition sponsored by His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan has become one of the most prestigious international competitions. This is reflected by the size of international participation in its various activities, and the number of young people participating in it, which is nearing 1,300 young people competing in more than fifty scientific, technical, industrial, agricultural and other skills.
Glory
His Highness said: "The young makers of glory and the makers of the future are the makers of victory and excellence in every field. They are the people of the challenge and the people of overcoming the impossible, as evident in the words of the Arab poet Omar Abu Risha: How cheap glory is when it visits me without an appointment". His Highness toured the exhibition accompanied by His Excellency Mohammed bin Abdullah Al Gergawi, Minister of Cabinet Affairs and the future.
Minister of Education and Her Excellency Shama Bint Suhail bin Faris Al Mazrouei, Minister of State for Youth Affairs who presented to His Highness the Crown Prince of Dubai, and his accompaniers an explanation about the youth participations in the exhibition and the focus of this event on the creativity of young people in the UAE and the countries participating in the international skills competition which reaches about eighty-eight countries who are all members of the General Assembly of the World Organization of Skills.
During his tour, His Highness stopped at the platform of one of the national young men who showed his creativity and ideas in the field of flower coordination. He then visited the Abu Dhabi Health Services Company (SEHA) and was briefed on the company's outstanding skills, including the medical laboratory skill and beautiful smile skill which is an educational platform for the public to take care of their teeth and keep their smiles bright.
Then His Highness passed to a special platform for a young citizen who presented skills related to computer manufacturing technology. His Highness then stopped at the Abu Dhabi Police General Command and saw a model of an Air Force Command helicopter with high specifications and techniques for search and rescue operations, and medical assistance for people suffering from difficulties cases and cases of drowning in the sea.
The Crown Prince of Dubai visited the foreign "Rondo" platform and was briefed on the latest techniques and skills of bakery and the mechanism of mixing and kneading the flour to become bread without strenuous efforts and in the shortest possible time. He then stopped at the government liaison office of the Government of Abu Dhabi and was briefed by officials on what they were offering and the initiatives they launched to encourage youth, and motivate them to sharpen their talents.
His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum expressed his admiration for the high skills and creativity of young Emirati men and women. He expressed his pleasure and pride in the great abilities and creative energies in the minds and hands of the young people who have been made, by their wise leadership, the first priority in development, care, and advancement.
