His Highness Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, attended the huge musical operetta "Hathi Biladi" (this is my homeland), organized by the Ministry of Education at Dubai World Trade Center yesterday, where more than 500 students (males and females) from state schools participated in the performance.
His Highness expressed his admiration for the national musical operetta, which promotes a culture of loyalty to the leadership of this beloved country and the spirit of true belonging to the soil of the United Arab Emirates. This operetta also embodies the national unity among the various segments of our loyal people along the territory of our beloved country.

The ceremony was held under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Khalifa Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the UAE, and was attended by H.H. Sheikh Hamdan Bin Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai, His Highness Sheikh Saif Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior, His Highness Sheikh Ahmed Bin Saeed Al Maktoum, Chairman of Dubai Air Authority and Chairman of Emirates Group, Sheikh Hasher Bin Maktoum Al Maktoum, Director of the Dubai Media Department, and a number of high-ranking ministers and senior state officials, teaching staff at various schools participating in the event, and a crowd of students and their families.
The "Operetta", which was performed by a number of Emirati and Gulf artists along with the students, consisted of six songs entitled: "the giving homeland, the Emirati school, the national heritage, homeland defenders, Mohamed Mohamed and this is your country". The operetta was written by the Emirati poets Ali al-Khwar and Anwar Al-Mushiri, composed by Fayez Al Saeed, and directed by Dr. Ali Hassan and his assistant Nasser Al Saadoun.
Civilized status:
The operetta reflects the advanced civilized status and various national achievements, which have been achieved for our great people, with the support, directions and giving of our wise leadership that seeks by all possible means to provide a decent, stable and secure life for the UAE society, and provide free education opportunities for the sons and daughters of the UAE in the framework of its keenness to build the creative human insured in God Almighty, and the pride of the country and its Arab and Islamic noble values, principles and traditions. The operetta also reflects the national relations between the wise leadership and the people, as well as the solidarity and spirit of joint Gulf action between the countries and sons of the Gulf Cooperation Council countries.
At the end of the ceremony, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum blessed the efforts of the three ministers, students, trainers and artists who contributed to the creation of this artistic and heritage work, which is a source of happiness and pride for our promising national generations.
