His Excellency Ahmad Belhoul Al Falasi: In line with the vision of its wise leadership, the UAE empowers teachers with digital knowledge and skills

​Dr. Ahmad Belhoul Al Falasi, Minister of Education, has affirmed that the UAE, under the directives of its wise leadership, pays great attention to teachers. It is keen to empower them with technology, knowledge and digital skills, to lead the future of sustainable education and enhance the country's leadership and global competitiveness. This falls in line with the message of His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the UAE, "Teachers are a national treasure. They carry a noble message. We are proud of their pivotal role in building minds and refining spirits."

He added, "World Teacher's Day, which falls on the fifth of October of each year, is of great value for the educational field. Through it, we examine teachers' sincere efforts with appreciation, reverence and respect. We regard them as a symbol of loyalty and giving, as educators for all generations, builders of civilizations and initiators of renaissance and progress in societies. Teachers build national capabilities to consolidate an integrated system based on knowledge and ethics, enhance students' moral values, and nourish their minds with knowledge and science."

HE Dr. Al Falasi expressed that the Mohammed bin Zayed Award for Best Teacher is one of the pioneering initiatives launched by the UAE. It embodies the vision of the country's wise leadership, sheds light on teachers, and dedicates the best cognitive and digital practices to support them. It honors them for their efforts, excellence, professional competence, and pivotal role in the educational process, highlighting their capabilities, skills, and achievements. Education in general, and teachers in particular, enjoys unparalleled care, attention and support from His Highness. This stems from his deep belief that teachers carry the noblest messages and are responsible for building generations and enhancing educational achievements.

His Excellency added, "We congratulate all teachers in the UAE on World Teachers' Day, and we remember with pride and gratitude those who bear a great and noble message. They instruct generations, helping them carry out their responsibilities, sustain the educational process and uphold the leadership of the UAE. Through the selflessness of teachers and future generations, our nation will continue to grow in all fields, in line with its strategic aspirations, to achieve its vision of reaching the highest rank in the world and continuing the path of excellence, innovation and leadership in all development fields."
