Today,
under the slogan "Partners in our path", the Parents' Conference
organized by the Ministry of Education is being held for the first time at
Khalifa University in Abu Dhabi. The conference aims to promote the role of
parents in supporting the education process in the country. The seminar will be
attended by a group of experts, educators, parents, education leaders and
specialists who will discuss important educational issues, which contribute to
enhancing the role of parents in the development and development of education
in the UAE.
The
meeting was attended by His Excellency Sheikh Nahyan bin Mubarak Al Nahyan,
Minister of Tolerance, His Excellency Hussain bin Ibrahim Al Hammadi, Minister
of Education and Her Excellency Jamila Bint Salem Musabah Al Muhairi, Minister
of State for General Education Affairs.
The
conference is dedicated to the vision of the Ministry of Education, its
ambitious strategic objectives and its serious efforts to reach out to all
segments of the local community and exchange ideas and experiences that serve
the educational process in the UAE and contribute to building a family and
community system that achieves complementarity between parents and the school.
In addition to manifesting the principal of sustaining effective participation
in the education of our students and enhancing the role of parents in improving
students' academic, social, intellectual and cognitive development.
The
idea of the educational conference is based on highlighting the important and
vital role of the parent in the educational process, as the UAE school needs
the joint efforts and supportive ideas to achieve its ambitious vision in
graduating a pioneering and leading generation that can achieve top positions
in global competitiveness.
The
conference aims at highlighting the role of parents in supporting the
educational process and achieving the National Agenda Indicators in terms of
education and creating awareness about the importance of parents support of the
educational development plans in the Emirati school. In addition to
contributing to building a family and community system that enhances the
partnership between the home and the school.
As well as giving the opportunity for educational experts and academics
in various fields of education to exchange knowledge, information and
experiences in the area of partnership with parents, in addition to being aware
of the latest developments and changes in the field of parental partnership in
order to improve the quality of field practices and celebrate the distinguished
practices of partnership in the education field through its presentation and
use, and building a sustainable communication network that provides opportunities for collaboration
between parents and schools.
