President passes a decree to appoint Dr. Mohammad Al Mualla as the
Undersecretary for Higher Education Academic Affairs
His
Highness Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the United Arab Emirates,
may Allah protect him, passed a federal decree on appointing Dr. Mohammad Al
Mualla as the Undersecretary for Higher Education Academic Affairs
The
federal decree no. 181 of 2016 is in effect as of the date of its issuance on
the 14th of last November.
Dr. Al
Mualla has over 16 years of academic and administrative experience. He played
an essential role in founding Khalifa University and occupied several positions
in it. He contributed to establishing and supervising Khalifa University
scientific research centers, giving the strategic leadership and guidance of
the post graduate studies and researches and managing Khalifa University
intellectual property.
Dr. Al Mualla holds a PhD degree in Electrical and
Electronic Engineering and an MSc degree in Communication Systems and Signal
Processing both from the University of Bristol, U.K. He also holds a BEng
degree in Communications Engineering from Etisalat College of Engineering, UAE.
