His Excellency Abdulrahman Mohammed Al Hammadi , Undersecretary for Control and Support Services at the Ministry of Education and Executive Board Member of the Arab Bureau of Education for the Gulf States, stressed the need of greater cooperation and deeper integration among the member states of the Arab Bureau of Education for the Gulf States, in order to achieve the objectives of Gulf joint action in education, development and human building in accordance with the directives of the of the Gulf Cooperation Council leaders.
This came after his participation in the Executive Board meeting of the Arab Bureau of Education for the Gulf States at its 90th session, hosted by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in Jeddah, which included several topics aimed at developing the educational process in the member States, the proposed programs of the office and its affiliated centers, as well as the progress reports of implementation.
Al Hammadi thanked the sister Government of Saudi Arabia under the leadership of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques and His Highness the Crown Prince for hosting the Executive Board Meeting, and acknowledged the support and sponsorship of Their Majesties, Their Highnesses and Their Excellencies, the leaders of Member States for the programs and projects of the Arab Bureau of Education and its affiliated centers; which contributed to the advancement of the educational process, and drew the attention of His Excellency Dr. Hamad bin Mohammed Al Sheikh, Saudi Minister of Education, to the programs of the Executive Council.
His Excellency Al-Hammadi praised the great efforts undertaken by the Arab Bureau of Education and its affiliated centers since the beginning of Covid-19 crisis to promote efforts to support the continuation of education during the pandemic, and convey best practices and experiences in education technology in order to enhance educational work development. He also expressed his appreciation for the keenness of H.E. Dr. Abdullah bin Khamis Ambusaidi Undersecretary of the Ministry of Education for Education of Oman and President of the Executive board, to support efforts to improve educational achievements and implement approved programs.
H.E. also reiterated the Ministry of Education's keenness to active participation and constructive cooperation in the embodiment of joint educational work in accordance with international best practices, and to coordinate with Member States in initiatives, activities, programs and future directions to ensure the development of education, and to upgrade Gulf educational systems, to build knowledge-based societies.
