Her
Excellency Jameela Bint Salem Al-Muhairi, Minister of State for Public
Education, visited Al-Hilaliat School in Malihah, Aisha Bint Othman School in
Wadi Al-Helw in Sharjah and Al Asamah Bint Al-Harith Elementary and Secondary
School for Girls in Al-Menaie in Ras Al-Khaimah, and Her Excellency was briefed
on the progress of the educational process in those schools.
This
visit comes within the Ministry of Education's efforts to achieve effective
communication with the cadres in the educational field and to stay in direct
contact with them, especially with the beginning of the new academic year. It
also aims to provide a wider space for communication and exchange of ideas with
school principals, teachers and students, that contributes to achieving
motivation and drawing perceptions through which participatory and developmental
plans are enhanced to ensure the advancement of the educational field.
During
her visit, Her Excellency Jameela Al Muhairi was keen to hear from those
concerned about achievements regarding the maintenance work of the schools that
were subject to it, and she exchanged conversations with them about the
immediate and urgent educational issues that occupy the field, as well as the
development proposals that contribute to accelerating the development cycle of
the Emirati school and its outcomes and outputs in the near future.
Her
Excellency Jameela Al Muhairi became acquainted with the elements of each
school in terms of its operational aspects, and she inspected the conditions of
students and teaching staff and urged everyone to invest in time, educational
potential and available motivating teaching tools in order to achieve
excellence and success.
During
her visit, Her Excellency guided the educational field cadres to the need for
increasing efforts that ensure developing the performance of schools in International
and National tests, and to work continuously to enhance the importance of the
tests and the participation of students as important means for identifying the
reality of education in the country and the level of UAE students compared to
their peers at the global level.
Her
Excellency also urged the educational field cadres to adopt innovative methods
to provide the contents of the school curriculum so as to establish the latest skills
in the minds of students, which should be owned within the developed
educational system in the country.
Her
Excellency concluded by stressing the importance of strengthening the schools’
relationship with parents, who should be considered an important part of the
educational process, and that achieving positive partnership with them through
their responsible and influential roles will undoubtedly contribute to reaching
high quality educational outputs and additional benefits that reflect
positively on the entire educational process
