Service Description  
Registration of newly enrolled students at governmental schools and kindergarten, in the following cases:
  • First time enrollment at schools.
  • Transfer from private schools.
  • Transfer from schools outside UAE.
 
Service Requirements & Condition  
  • Registration of UAE nationals and GCC citizens during the period from the 3rd to 6th month of the academic year.
  • Registration of incoming students starts in the 5th month of the academic year.
  • The incoming students shall not exceed 20% of total school students.
  • Incoming students shall not be allowed to attend to school, unless their approval by the relevant Education Zone is completely verified.

  • Minimum age, up to one (1) year only,  maybe excused for transferred students from governmental schools outside UAE, for all grades except for the 1st grade.
  • UAE nationals, and the equivalent students, whose ages are below 6.5 years at the begging of October of the admission year, may be excused for the 2nd grade, provided that they have passed the 1st grade in a recognized school, upon an evidencing  , duly ratified certificate.
  • Minimum age, up to one (1) year only,  may be excused for transferred students from private schools, for grades from the 3rd to 12th grade.
 
 
Required Documents 
  • Kindergarten (KG):
    • True copies of registration certificate of the citizen, or the mothers registration certificate of the mother of a UAE national.
    • True copy of birth certificate (or an official extract)
      • Age evaluation certificates issued by the relevant Ministry of Health authorized committees may be accepted for UAE citizens, and the equivalent, provided that they are matched with the passport or the registration certificate upon which the child was registered.

  • Passport, upon which the student is registered.
  • Father's passport
Children of holders decrees issued by HH President of UAE or his deputy
  • A certificate to whom it might concern issued by Nationality Dept verifying that the resident is a decree holder.
  • A valid passport issued by his/her mother country.
Children of employees in the Diplomatic Corps Diplomatic card issued by the UAE Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
The orphan nurtured by UAE citizen (for reason of father's death)
  • Valid passport, upon which the student is registered, exhibiting a valid residence cover the student. The sponsor shall be the same nurturer.
  • Death certificate of the student's father.
  • Nurturing certificate issued by UAE courts.
Children of male/female employees in the governmental and private sectors (all nationalities)
  • Valid passport, upon which the student is registered, exhibiting a valid residence covering the student and residence license.
  • Parent's valid passport, exhibiting valid residence or residence license.
  • A certificate to whom it might concern issued by the parent's place of work.
  • Lease contract, authorized by the competent authorities in UAE.
    • Original birth certificate or a true copy of birth certificate.
    • recent personal photo (6 ×4).
    • Academic certificates.
 
Stage Required Certificates Ratification Authority
9 - 2 Success certificate, exhibiting marks, of the last academic grade passed by the student.
  • Certificates issued from outside UAE: to be ratified by the Ministry of Education, Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the UAE Embassy in the issuing country, respectively.
  •  For GCC citizens, whose certificates are issued by GCC countries, only ratification by the Ministry of Education or relevant Education Zone issuing the certificate, is required.
  • Academic certificates issued by schools reporting to GCC abroad embassies requires ratification by the relevant embassy and UAE embassy in the issuing country.
  • Academic certificates issued by private schools in UAE shall be ratified by the relevant Education Zone.
12 - 10 Success certificate, exhibiting marks, of the 9th grade, or the equivalent.

Procedures to be followed 
  • The ministry issues a circular about registration opening.
  • The parent shall bring the required documents and the intended student to the relevant school.
  • The school shall prepare a committee for student interviews.
  • The committee shall interview students.
  • The parent shall fill in school form.
  • The committee shall verify accuracy of document and attachments.
  • In case the student is a UAE citizen or GCC citizen:
    • The file shall be approved by school administration.
  • In case the student is an incoming student:
    • The file shall be referred to the relevant Education Zone.
    • The relevant Education Zone coordinator shall set his/her seal of registration approval.
    • The coordinator shall fill in the data in the registration & admission system.
The coordinator then sets his/her seal on the file and return it back to the relevant school.
 
Service Charge and Delivery Time 
Service Charge UAE citizens: N/A Incoming students: AED 6000.00 for all stages
Estimated time from application submission until service delivery UAE citizens and GCC citizens: one (1) week Incoming students: two (2) days – three (3) moths, as per the approval of Education Zone
